DARK CHOCOLATE BARS
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
- 110 grams cocoa butter, roughly chopped
- 4 tablespoons honey (adjust the quantity according to sweetness required)
- 40 grams unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- dash of salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine cocoa butter and coconut oil in a bowl. Place this on a double boiler and melt completely. Keep stirring the mixture occasionally until melted
- Once melted, remove the bowl from the double boiler and sieve the cocoa powder into this liquid mixture. Whisk well till no lumps
- Add honey and mix well. Add the vanilla essence and salt as well
- The mixture should be glossy with no lumps
- Pour this mixture into molds of your choice. I like to use bar-shaped molds.
- Let this set in the fridge for about an hour or two.
- Once set the chocolate should come out easily from the mold.
